Did you

Know?

That in total there were three Pegasus models, two approximately 12 inches high with 18-inch wingspans, which were used for the long shots. There was a larger model about 18 inches high with a wingspan of 2 1/2 feet. The skin for these models was from unborn goats because the pelts had small pure white hairs in proportion to the size of the models.

Forums back up!

Good  news! after over a week of troubleshooting and trying to figure out what was wrong with the forum they are finally back to normal. Basically it was a two part issue...my hosting company upgraded their software on their end and in the process the forum was affected. After they ran a series of scripts on the database and fixed all the issues I had to do a restore of the database on my end and run some fixes and patches to pretty much get everything back online. So as of today Saturday morning (Los Angeles time) the forums are back online and I am please to say that nothing was lost during the whole mess! For a moment there I thought that I was forced to do a new forum from scratch but thank the Gods! that it all worked fine. So in the mean time all members should be able to log in with their previous usernames and passwords without any issues. Well it was a strange ride but everything seems to be back to normal!

Forums are down!!

The forums are down at the moment, my hosting company did some upgrades on their end and in the process it appears that my database server was affected. As it stands none of the forum topics are showing up and they appear to have been erased. I have contacted them and have opened up a support ticket. I hope this gets resolved soon, If for whatever reason this cant be repaired, I'm sorry to say that I will be forced to re-create a new forum from scratch, stay tuned.

Update

I've added the cast page for Jason and the Argonauts finally! I must apologize for the long delay in updates I've just been very busy with work and family. As far as the cast page goes, does anyone have an idea who was the actor that played Triton in the film? or how about the Captain of the Guard from Cholcis? anyone? if you do send me and email! I really would like to know who these two actors where.

Update

Creature Feature?

Sorry for the long delay in updates but I'm a bit busy with work at the moment but I will be working on the actors page for Jason and the Argonauts tomorrow night. I was also toying around with the Creature Feature area of the site which has been neglected ever since I changed the design. Right now I'm currently trying to come up with a decent design for each page of the fights. I want this section to be more that a simple pop up with the video embedded in, I need to come up with a cool design for it as it will feature full length fights so if anyone has any bright ideas give me a buzz.

One other thing, Joe Laudati renowned model maker famous for his re-creations of most of Ray's creatures has joined the forums!! we are very pleased to have him as member of the site Welcome Joe!

Stop Motion Works is an awesome resource for those who are interested in stop motion, stop motion artists, films and even for those who want to start learning the process. Managed by Lionel Ivan Orozco who worked on the original Gumby, A nightmare before Christmas and others, it has an extensive list of resources on creating your own film, making your first armature and more. I highly recommend it.
