Ray Harryhausen has finally an official website its the one site that has all the latest Ray info! its a must see!

 

Stop Motion Works is an awesome resource for those who are interested in stop motion, stop motion artists, films and even for those who want to start learning the process. Managed by Lionel Ivan Orozco who worked on the original Gumby, A nightmare before Christmas and others, it has an extensive list of resources on creating your own film, making your first armature and more. I highly recommend it.

The Fantastic Films of Ray Harryhausen has been around for a long time. I think it might be one of the oldest sites on this subject out there. Its great it has tons of info on the films that I had no idea existed, check it out highly recommended.

 

 

 

 

 

MonsterJones a highly recommended site where you can find tons of models from Harryhausen to B-Monster creatures, some of the Harryhausen models are amazing! If you got a kit and need it painted and built contact Bill this guy will built and paint your kit with amazing detail, you must check out his work.

 

WonderFest is THE annual expo for model and toy collectors of sci-fi, horror & comics subjects--especially plastic kits & garage kits. Highly recommended site for model makers and collectors.

You can also find Japanese Monsters such as Godzilla, Gamera and more. Also for horror fans the site carries a wide selection to collectors items from Hellraiser, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and much much more I highly recommended it!

Stop Motion Animation is the premier site for info on the complete process that it used to do stop motion. It has some amazing resources on the subject highly recommended.

Monsters in Motion is a collectors store located in Placentia Ca, their site has some cool stuff to buy online they have a wide selection of miniatures from movies probably the biggest! if your looking for something that is not at the other stores I'm pretty sure you will find it here. The store carries miniatures, soundtracks, film posters, sculptures, toys and other collectors items, The Ray Harryhausen collection they have is un-matched check out the site...better yet visit the actual store.

 

Encyclopedia Mythica is an online resource for all that is considered Myth from many cultures its a great resources if you need extra info on the characters from the Mythological world it covers tons of people, places and well monsters, with a great bestiary and some cool links. Check it out.

The Art of Stop Motion Animation is a great site dedicated to the masters of this subject they got a cool little tutorial on how to do your own stop motion animation film, I highly recommend it.

Anasazi Stop Motion Animator is a cool program that allows you to animate some of your clay models if you have a digital camera with a good graphics card you can animate your creations!

Amazon probably one of the best places to buy Mr. Harryhausen films online, unless you prefer going to the local video store, I've bought most of my films at Amazon so I highly recommend it.
